Kids Policies and Procedures

Attendance

Attendance is the key to progress. Each athlete must be signed in by the parent when handed off to the Kids Coach. The athletes must come to class on time. Everyone should come at least 5 minutes early so that they may go to the bathroom, clean up, get changed and be ready for class. Kids will not be allowed to train if they are late. Due to the fast nature of the class activities and the performance of athletic exercises, it is crucial they come on time so that they are not lost during the class and can participate in the warm up and stretching.

Viewing classes

We are happy to have parents sit in on classes. We welcome cheering and encouragement during games, drills, etc. However, to promote a consistent learning environment we do ask parents to refrain from correcting their child during class. You do not have to be present for your child to participate in the CrossFit Bolton Kids program, but please be punctual in picking up and dropping of your child.

Children are not permitted in the main training area at any time during an adult class. There are pieces of equipment that can cause injury without proper supervision. Parents should be focused on their own training during the adult classes. Please provide books or items to keep your child entertained while you complete your workout.

Pick up and Drop off

For the safety of your child, we ask that you come inside CrossFit Bolton to pick up and drop off your child after class. We are aware that this might be an inconvenience, but we are more concerned with safety. We will not allow students to wait outside alone.

Dress code

Athletes are responsible for coming to class in proper gym attire, including shorts, t-shirt and sneakers. Please also provide clothing that can be worn outside either for the cold or warm weather. Athletes will not be allowed to participate in class if they are missing all or part of their gym attire.

Kids should also bring a water bottle with their name written on it.  No beverage other than water is permitted in the gym.

Support

If you are involved in a school, youth program, sports program or other organization that you feel would benefit from exposure to the CrossFit Bolton Kids program, please let us know. We truly appreciate your help in getting the word out about CrossFit Bolton Kids. If you would like to set up a demonstration, talk, special event or seminar please contact us for more information. Also, we are always happy to donate gift certificates for the CrossFit Bolton Kids and CrossFit Bolton adult classes for your fundraiser events.

Extended Absence and Termination

If you will be missing class for an extended period of time due to vacations or other reasons, please make sure to put your membership on hold. This must be done in writing via email to info@crossfitbolton.com 14 days prior to your billing date. Verbal notifications are not permitted.

All sales are final. No refunds shall be made for services purchased.

Notice

There is a risk of injury involved in training and participating in any sport. CrossFit Bolton Kids has tried to create a safe and controlled environment for participation. Rules have been established for participation and conduct in and around the gym area that must be followed.
