We usually talk about supplements at our Paleo Challenge info sessions.  There are always questions about supplements and which ones are useful and which aren’t.  We were pressed for time on the last one so we didn’t talk about supplements at all.  I figured everyone could benefit from this info so I decided to post it.

Here are our supplement recommendations:

  1. FISH OIL

    Benefits 

    • lowers blood pressure
    • slows build-up of plaque in arteries
    • promotes weight loss
    • reduces inflammation in the body
    • increases bone mineral content
    • improves memory and brain health

    Dosage

    • 3000 mg per day, with meals

    Benefits

    • relaxes muscles and relieves muscle cramps
    • promotes a restful sleep
    • lowers blood pressure by dilating blood vessels
    • activates enzymes for macronutrient metabolism in the cells and the production of ATP

    • reduces asthma, anxiety and nervousness

    • 400mg per day with meals OR before bed if you have trouble sleeping
